Which is a stronger acid -- HCL or HF?
Your Ad Here
To compare an acid's strength, you need to see what the acid's dissociation value (ka) is. The ka for HF is 7.2x10-4. The ka for HCl is unknown because the HCl dissociates in water almost completely. The stronger acid is HCl.
