What "money" is Al Gore making off of Global Warming?

Why are we having these American political Qs when we are in YA ...UK and Ireland? With the greatest respect to my American cousins, we in the UK and Ireland are unable to refer to the person you name or to a State policy. On a human level we are all the same, but when it needs political or legislative answers we are in the dark. No offence intended, we just feel unqualified to answer.
