Jehovah's Witnesses...What about Matthew 25:19-23?
One thing that Jesus was known for was his illustrations. Why does Jesus speak in illustrations? To his disciples he explains: “To you it is granted to understand the sacred secrets of the kingdom of the heavens, but to those people it is not granted.”(Matthew 13:11) He pronounces his disciples happy because they see and hear. Matthew 25:19-23 was given to his disciples privately on the mount of olives after he finished the greatest sermon ever heard, "The Sermon on the Mount". This parable is a settling of accounts with the Master Jesus Christ. This settling of accounts with the slaves required time and attention. So it would picture a period of presence or parousia on the part of the heavenly Master, Jesus Christ, in the fulfillment of the parable in its final features. These two parables are not the same. You seem to have a basic understanding of Matthew 24:45. Research Matthew 25:19-23. It seems you want it to say what you want it to say so that you can do whatever it is that you want to do. Pray about it and research with humility. You will see it.
