Does needing a call to prayer imply Muslims are absent-minded or forgetful?

Most people are absent minded and rather forgetful because they are over-indulged in their daily chores, regardless or their religion..this is why certain systems are in place, they serve as reminders and call people's attention.. the school bells are an example, penger announcements in airports are another form...but then again u can always find ways to criticize just about any religious ritual if that's ur purpose!
