I want to switch to interest only until my house is sold. Mortgage company will not do this.?

Can you do a refinance with a different group? I know this will take your partners name off the lease but maybe they would be willing to pay something up front for this. If you only owe 55,000 you should be able to get a more reasonable lease, and better interest, than you had originally?
