I am making a tomahawk for camping trips. It's made from a piece of 1/4" roll forged ballistic armor for a hummer. It's been laser cut to a plains Indian style blade with a 16" handle. Its constructed like a full tang knife with two oak round slabs an the sides held by 10 br rivets. It is almost finished and only needs heat treated and powder-coated mate black. I have gotten a few people that seen it and want one but I have no idea what something like this is worth. It's high-tech and custom in every way, all the way down to the material used. I've seen some tomahawks on eBay going for $250 and they were made from a hammer. So mine has got to be better than that. (Bladesmith's comment much welcome.)
